Melissa Kennedy Joins Health Improvement Collaborative as Director of Programming
Melissa R. Kennedy recently joined the Health Improvement Collaborative of Greater Cincinnati as its director of Programming. In this position, she is responsible for oversight of the Collaborative’s programming initiatives, including supervision of the organization’s two largest initiatives – the Cincinnati Aligning Forces for Quality Regional Market Project and the Cincinnati MD Resource Center.
Prior to joining the Collaborative, Kennedy was an independent decision support consultant, providing business planning consultation for the service sector. She was also previously a customer satisfaction/outcomes consultant for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center; a senior planning analyst for the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY; and executive vice president of Healthcare Research Systems in Columbus.
Kennedy received a master’s degree in Health Administration from the Ohio State University, with a concentration in marketing/planning and market research, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Lake Forest College in Illinois.
Kennedy resides in Wyoming with her husband and two children.
